Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hi, Gwen. Of course, you could get around Joe's objection by using
real human lungs. You can't buy them, but might be able to get them
from the UC Medical School. The lungs at the Museum of Science in
Boston are real, and several other museums as well.

Here's another idea stimulated by Joe's lung capacity exhibit: on
average, smokers have lower peripheral skin temperature than
non-smokers. You might be able to generate skin temperature data by
having each visitor measure the temp of their fingers and adding the
results to a database, either on a computer or on paper. Probably need
to track by age and sex as well as smoking history since those things
affect skin temp too, but you should be able to see a significant
difference.
