I'm a doctoral student looking at breastfeeding, and I'm finding that I have a
lot of questions.  For instance:  when Der, Batty, & Deary looked at sibling
pairs in which one was breastfed and the other wasn't, why didn't they see a
difference in cognition?  How can I design a survey on infant feeding history
that reduces recall bias?  If the only person at my university who studies
human milk also accepts formula company funding, is it ethical (or prudent)
for me to work with her?

Some of my questions are suitable for Lactnet but others are not.  I have
started a new Google group specifically for discussion of breastfeeding
research, so we can talk about statistics without clogging this list.  If
you're interested, you can subscribe here:

Hope to see you there!
