I am designing these activities for my Wind Wall: Hold a small wind
generator and try to maximize the power generated. Hold a venturi tube and
observe the different pressures. Make a sail for a small wind sailing racer
and race with other designs. Hold an air foil and feel the lift. For
children: Wear a long flowing cape and imagine flying with the flock. Make a
ribbion stick. Make a very small kite. How small can it be and still fly?
Let the children play with a group of sound generating tubes. Hold a garden
wind mobile. Why do the wings move? Does anybody have other creative
activities for children to play with the wind? Roger Sonntag - GS&E
