I've vaporized my colonies for the last two years. Since the hive is 
closed...holes taped, and entrance closed with foam...not much vapor 
escapes. I always work from the upwind side, and haven't had a problem with 
vapor. I've tasted it a couple times...can't imagine how you could actually 
inhale it. Handling the hot vaporizer is where you might become 
exposed...so wear a mask at that point. As far as getting the acid on 
yourself,  it is simple to handle. Keep the 2 gram scoop clean, and no 
problem. Or...wear gloves. It has to be easier to handle than OA syrup, or 
liquid formic.
