Hi Lactnetters,

Summer is still in full swing in the Northern hemisphere (over 100 degrees
here in Maryland today). People are leaving on vacation and wanting to turn
off their Lactnet mail for a while. I have noticed quite a few listserv
commands being sent to the list and to the lactnet-request address. Please
follow the directions that are on the bottom of *every* Lactnet post to
manage your subscription. The list mothers cannot manage the basic
subscription needs of 3500 subscribers but if you have a problem, please
feel free to email us at the lactnet-request address. There have also been
a few "I am out of the office" automatic replies sent to the list. If you
have one of those auto-responders set and you have not turned off your
Lactnet mail, they get sent to the list as well, so please be cognizant of
that when you take your vacations.

Thanks,

Kathy
List Mother
