Hi Veronica,

I also had mastitis before giving birth.  In fact, I was one of those women who had repeated mastitis with each of my 4 children.  Each time it was a rapid onset with moderate to high fever; twice (different babies) I was hospitalized for IV antibiotics.  The same type of mastitis happened prenatally and I was treated at home w/ antibiotics and rest.
