And then there are those of us for whom the roller coaster scene, or
the hang gliding scene, or the scene where the school of fish goes
swimming over the edge of a deep ocean-bottom crevice, is always
edited too darn short. I feel my heart just start pounding and then /
edit/ to a giant talking head.

Nevermind the nauseatics, to some of us, the medium has never been
exploited to its fullest potential! It suffers because producers are
always aiming at the middle of the bell curve. Are there producers
in our midst? Hear me whine!

Is there any opportunity for alternative uses of the giant screen
movie theaters? If my memory serves me, the projector has a peculiar
and unique "aspect ratio," right? So plugging a video game console
into one of those things would yield an underwhelmingly small or
severely warped projection? My wife and I make video art, and
sometimes we mix it live for an audience--something we call
Improvised Cinema--so my curiousity regarding the unused potential of
such venues runs deep. I'd love to get technical with somebody off-
list for a minute or two if you can answer some questions.

Thanks!
Jason
