We are in the process of evaluating the structure of our on floor public programming. I gathering information to look at how we might be able to improve our overall function as a department. If you could take a couple of minutes and answer the following questions it would be greatly appreciated. You may send them off list to me if you like.
1. What is the current structure of your Public Programming area (management, number of staff, areas of responsibility)
2. If you have full-time and part-time staff what are their job functions
3. Who decides what programs are developed and when
4. Who is responsible for the development of new programs
5. How do you react to special scientific events (major natural disasters) and who is responsible for dealing with them.
6. Does your Programming area interact or assist in the development of exhibits
7. Does your Centre differentiate between school groups and the general public when it comes to programming, program delivery, program develop.
8. Anything else you might like to share.
