We found dozens of Nassau bottles laying between Throgs Neck and Mamaroneck
N.Y. Not to mention dozens of damaged ones. I wonder if there is a connection
to the disastrous British landing of thousands of troops in the marshes there,
in an ill advised attempted to surround the Americans  escaping New York City.
