Dear Listers,

If you've never visited the online Museum of Underwater Archaeology (MUA), then please do it! Just hit the link below:

http://www.uri.edu/mua/

It's not (yet) on a scale to compete with our Texas Beyond History site, but it's still a fine effort. I especially liked the kids section where you get to interpret a sonagraph to find an anchor and excavate, recover, and conserve it. Please give the MUA a gander and then help ol' Kurt out by taking the very brief & painless survey.

Hello All:

Whether you've been to the online Museum of Underwater Archaeology (MUA) website or not, this question matters. Is the hype that surrounds the Internet justified?

I am assessing how well the MUA is accomplishing its goals. If we wish to grow and improve we need to occasionally stop and ask our audience for their opinion. I respectfully ask for your help even if you've never been to our website. Please take a brief moment to complete a short ten question survey by clicking on this link:

http://chnm.gmu.edu/tools/surveys/2661/

While this survey will help the MUA it is also part of graduate class project in the scholarship of teaching and learning which seeks to examine the effectiveness of our teaching strategies. It won't take long. Did I mention it's short? Barely noticeable really. Don't blink or you'll miss it. Did I mention the fabulous prizes? (well ok there aren't any but I sure would appreciate your help) Shoot, I promised myself I wouldn't beg.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,

T Kurt Knoerl
