Project Archaeologist

MACTEC is seeking a Project Archaeologist to be based in its Knoxville,
Tennessee office.  This is a full-time salaried position.  Duties will
include the direction and coordination of archaeological projects in the
eastern United States, to include field and laboratory tasks as well as
report preparation.  This person will work under the supervision of the
Senior Archaeologist and the Project Principal Archaeologist.  The
successful candidate must possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in
Anthropology or Archaeology and be a member or be eligible to become a
member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists.  This position
requires a minimum of three years of experience in the cultural
resources management field.  A willingness to travel is required and
supervisory experience is preferred.  A writing sample must be submitted
