I have permission to post. A fellow LC who works as a NP in a peds office 
had this question asked of her. This mom has a 6 mo who BF 4-5 times per day 
as well as some solids. Mom works as a glass bender-she makes tubes for neon 
signs. She is exposed to natural gas burnoff, phosphorus powder, and handled 
leaded glass so has a very indirect contact w/ mercury. She says she cannot wear 
gloves or mask. She would be working 3 days/week. Her question is can she 
continue to BF? What would be the best place for her to contact regarding this 
question?
