Society For the Preservation of Long "Island" Antiquities (SPLIA)

American Philosophical "Society" not Association

"Founded in 1745 by Benjamin Franklin, among others; promotes useful
knowledge in the sciences and humanities through excellence in
scholarly research..." Should not be just a Republican icon, Mr.
President, but Ben Franklin belongs to us all, he almost stopped the
bloody Revolution at the "Conference House" on Staten Island, NYC
(test excavations by former NYC Landmarks Archaeologist Sherene
Baugher, Ph.D.) but no one could agree on whether the windows should
be left open or closed ("I opened the window and influenza?" from the
1918 "Spanish Flu" pandemic).

suburban "sprawl" not sprall
