	In surveys conducted in 2005 American adults and  adults from 
32 European countries were asked humans developed from earlier 
species of animals (answer choices were  true, false, or not sure. 
The US respondents were second highest percentage who said the 
statement was "false"  and second lowest percentage who said "true" 
(only Turkey had more adults saying "false" than the US).
