Kristie: You might want to touch base with TERC as they did some work on a
science oriented playground a few years back. Paddy Wade, MITS.org

Hello,

Our organization is looking to build a new playground with a science
theme. As most of our visitors have children under 12, this would
include traditional elements like slides that would appeal to little
ones. Then there might be whisper dishes, speaking tubes, activities
with simple machines, etc.

I'm interested in hearing from people who already have these types
of playgrounds. I'd like to know how they're used, staffed, maintained,
and what went into the building process. I'd also be interested in
hearing from people who build these types of exhibits (offline, since we
can't sell through this list). Thanks in advance to anyone willing to
share.
