I would also be interseted in hearing about other people's ideas.

We've done small Earth Day activities in the past. One of our activities was "Recycle Races." We had a pile of stuff at one end, and a bunch of bins at the other. Kids had to carry the stuff one item at a time and deposit it into the appropriate bin, run back, etc.
