I didn't see the original request, but maybe our issue on "Climate Change"
in the Science Is Elementary publication would have something useful. You
can see the activities listed on our web page,
www.mits.org/science_is_elementary.htm. Cheers, Paddy Wade, MITS President

How about a miniature model greenhouse with a hot spotlamp above it,
while a second spotlamp shines down onto the table beside the greenhouse.

Hold your hand under the second lamp and judge the air temperature,
then push your hand through a rubber flap into the greenhouse and
notice the increased air temperature.

You could make this into a boring teaching aid by using thermometers,
but the temperature difference should be great enough to feel, which
is much better.

Give people facts and you feed their minds for an hour.
Awaken curiosity and they feed their own minds for a lifetime.
