ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

ASTC is collaborating with the National Science Teachers Association to
provide wide visibility for informal science education programs that
exemplify the (U.S.) National Science Education Standards. Selected
exemplary programs will be featured in a monograph co-edited by Robert
Yager, former NSTA president and professor of science education, and John
Falk of the Institute of Learning Innovation, which NSTA will publish next
year. Through this important new publication, programs that address specific
Standards and demonstrate rigorous proof of effectiveness - for any
audience, not just school students or their teachers - will be recognized.

Do you or one of your colleagues have a worthy program to nominate for this
peer-reviewed publication? The submission deadline is September 30.
Nomination Guidelines are available at
http://www.astc.org/about/pdf/NSTA_ASTC_nomination_guidelines.pdf
