aerial is fairly big here in europe; in england it is largely done by someone named bob buhley (probably have the spelling wrong, but could easily look it up if anybody wanted) and someone named braasch in germany
there was a fairly good conference in the czech republic a few years back, partly because aerial has only been feasible east of the "iron curtain" since '89, and there has been a lot of catching up being done
one of the latest uses has been in searching for the CIA "torture camps" now supposedly run out in poland & romania
