I have been at a BFHI workshop this weekend here in Queensland Australia.
Several participants described having read 'somewhere' about 2ml of
breastmilk having the same amount of nutritional value as (they thought)
about 30 mls of artificial milk. It was generally agreed that this would
be great 'ammunition' when trying to reduce the numbers of breastfed
babies being given other fluids in hospital.
Can anyone point me to where I might find a reference for this. Thanking
you in anticipation.

P.S. It was a wonderful workshop and I was so heartened to know that there
are all these fantastic motivated women out there working so hard to give
mothers and babies all the right information for a great start!!!!
