There is a dvd called "Immortal Beloved" about Beethoven with Gary Oldman
portraying Beethoven with Isabella Rosselini playing Beethoven's mystery
woman Antonie Brentano(the wife of a friend of Beethoven).There are 16
different pieces of Beethoven's music intersperced within the film.It's
2 hours long.For a Beethoven biography I would recommend "Beethoven" by
Maynard Solomon (second edition,1998)ISBN 0-965-87715-9
