Lauren, This past year the Berkshire Museum created two interactive
carts for our galleries (with IMLS funds) and they are staffed by teens
(as well as other docents). You can speak with Beth Hoffman, Education
Specialist that worked with our training for this population. I am
cc'ing her this email so she will anticipate your call/email.

Just as an FYI we did not create a Evaluation Logic Model for this
portion of the IMlS grant just in case you were wondering.

Best, Maria

Subject: Evaluation Tools for Teen Programs

I am in the beginning stages of developing a logic model that will be
used to evaluate an intensive teen volunteer training program. The
program involves 40 hours of professional development centered around
the delivery of an interactive cart.

I am interested in collecting information on tools that have been used
to evaluate teens on customer service, presentation, interpretation,
skills as well as their science content knowledge. If you have
experience in this area I would love to hear what types of tools worked,
didn't work, and the lessons you learned in the process.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!
