Interested in trying out a new approach to fostering discussion and debate
in your science center?
 
In late January, ASTC will be hosting a two-week ASTC Connect (online)
workshop, moderated by Andrea Bandelli, called Fostering Dialogue about
Science Policy. People who work for ASTC-member institutions are welcome to
sign up. (There's a limit of 25 participants.) The workshop is based on a
project called DeCiDe, now underway among several European science centers,
which was the subject of an article in the September/October issue of ASTC
Dimensions. 
 
Background reading and quick polls will be available before the workshop
begins on January 23. Then, during the first week of the workshop,
participants will organize and hold a debate (with either visitors or
staff); discussion will follow.
