Practicioners of itinerant shovelbummery in the southeast have been known to
cut a notch in the shoulder with grinder and rattail file to more easily
remove crown caps. The twist-off top has eliminated this quaint trade mod,
and a good thing since it allowed too much flex -- even in a Marshalltown --
speeding the tool's demise to work hardening.

Haven't tried the rubber baby buggy trowel but, expect to agree with the
user who complained that that kind of handle would not allow enough "slide"
in the hand. After many years, or test pits, you learn to use it like a
paint brush, and it needs to move a little in you hand.

Was it Scaramouche who said "Zee sword is like a snake; grip it too hard and
you will strangle it; grip it too lightly and it will slither out of your
hand".

Insert "trowel" or your favorite weapon for "sword".
