ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Simple ideas:
You want kids to enjoy science -- you can just ask them at the session to
rate different aspects
You want them to be involved in experimenting, inquiry, whatever you want to
call it -- you can observe what kids actually do -- what specific types of
activities do they engage in, do they complete the activity, you could "shadow"
some kids while they are doing the activity and ask them what's going on --
all to shed light on whether any science is going on.
So by using simple rating scales, observational techniques, and simple
interview techniques with kids who are actually there, you can gain substantial
insight into what's going on.
