This has become tiresome: criticism of women who use a breastfeeding pillow
as a tool or an aid, for whatever length of time.

Yes, there are inferior products on the market that can be useless and they
are sold everywhere. But I do wish I had the strap on Nurse EZ Twin pillow
when I breastfed my two daughters 30 years ago. My eldest daughters neck
and back were always going out of alignment until I found her this
breastfeeding pillow to lift her baby up to her breast level. Her shoulders
had actually become curved from lengthy breastfeeding sessions and she had
wonderful posture prior to pregnancy.

On this list I have read numerous times of the analogy of becoming
breastfeeding proficient vs the first time one made love as an ah ha moment
for moms and partners. They know proficiency happens later. Well, how many
couples also use sexual aids to enhance pleasure? Why should the mom/baby
unit be any different? If it works for even one mother and her
breastfeeding baby to keep them going, why knock it?

Susan Burger's post:

"So, I have to say that I take a bit of offense at the thought that I would
be classified as somehow an inferior mom because I happened to use a My
Brest Friend pillow for an extensive period of time."
