Lanolin may not be explicitively beneficial for a mom with thrush on the nipples, but it won't harm either and it might sooth discomfort while treating with ''real'' meds. Lanolin can be mixed with Gentian Violet (it is a bit messy, tho) or it can be applied after any topical antifungal. It will protect the skin from drying out and becoming thin and flakey due to the antifungals. Best to use one of the hyper-purified ones.
