In Missouri, all of the community acquired MRSA that we have been
seeing....which has been quite a bit, has been sensitive to bactrim and
clindamycin. We have used both in our pediatric practice with good
results. From the discussions that I have had with colleagues from
other parts of the country, it appears that most of the MRSA being seen
is sensitive to those two medications.
