My name is Julie Williams,RN IBCLC. I live in the DFW metroplex, Texas. I am considering starting a Lactation consulting business and welcome input from anyone that can contribute useful information to me for that purpose. I am married with 2 grown children, have worked in Maternal/Child Nursing for approx 27yrs. I was recently layed off of my job in a 3Dr. Ob-Gyn group and am taking some time to decide my next career move. My main function as an LC in the office was phone call triage of lactation problems and I would see patients in the hospital if time permitted during our clinic hours.
