Thank you Pamela Morrison! I am often frustrated by the attitude that it is
all about the mother. The mother's birth, the mother's choice for feeding,
the mother's right to choose what is best for her. In all things birth and
breastfeeding the baby is there too! Yes, it is a woman giving birth, but it
is the baby's birthing! It is the mother who makes choices about what to
feed, when to feed, how to feed, but it is the baby living with those choices.

Thank you for reminding us of the very important reality that the choices of
the mother are about the baby and it is the baby who ultimately pays the
price of those choices.

Take care,
Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC
