[Apologies for cross-postings]

The Centre for Life is a pioneering science village based in Newcastle upon Tyne. It not only fosters advancement of the life sciences but also contributes to the international debate on how society explains and applies to new scientific knowledge flowing from discoveries about our genes and how they work. At its heart is a groundbreaking science centre which offers a range of science based activities for family and schools audiences. The Centre is entering an exciting and challenging period having secured £4.5 million for major refurbishment of the Life Science Centre exhibition.
