ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Minda Borun at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia did a number of
evaluation projects along these lines. I specifically remember one related to naive
notions about gravity.
He discussed his own work in teaching inquiry to children and presented a
model in which children first formed a naive theory and were then surprised
by an effect which required them to update that theory. Does anyone know
where I can find references or descriptions of this work?
