The Indonesian Science and Technology Center, Pusat Peragaan Iptekare, is
seeking assistance with its tsunami education program. 

In the wake of last December's devastating tsunami, Pusat Peragaan Iptek  is
developing an educational outreach program as part of a massive Indonesian
rehabilitation and reconstruction effort conducted by the Ministry of
Research and Technology. Director Herudi Kartowisastro is asking for
assistance from ASTC colleagues around the world as the  center plans
interactive exhibits and activities on earthquakes, tsunamis, and related
natural phenomena to increase future preparedness. The Ontario Science
Centre has already responded, providing PowerPoint slides, photos, video,
and sketch of a wave model they used in a public program on the science of
the tsunami offered in January.
