Dear Friends:
    My post wasn't clear. I apologize. If the mother is  willing to 
pasteurize her milk, she could give it to her baby. But breastfeeding  would be 
contraindicated.
    Lois Arnold has told of some islands in Japan where  HTLV-1 is endemic. 
The plan is to have the inhabitants of those places feed  artificially for 
several generations to eliminate the virus.
