No surprise, that! They could hardly reference it as what it is, *Old Wives Tale*. Definitely not evidence-based, and stuff in print would be *opinions* in advice columns and maybe some old books. Perhaps this would be a time for a US-based writer among Lactnetters to write an article on crying in infants, citing the evidence and interviewing people who really know this subject.
