Assistant Professor, Historical Archaeology

The University of Nevada, Reno, Department of Anthropology is seeking candidates for a tenure-track, full-time Assistant Professor with specialty in historical archaeology. Duties include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; advising undergraduate and graduate students; helping to review and develop undergraduate and graduate curricula; carrying out research and publishing results; serving on department and university committees; and engaging in public outreach and service activities. Tenure-track faculty involved in research and graduate teaching and mentoring typically teach two courses each semester.
