Has there ever been a case of HIV transmission through banked milk?
Does anyone have a reference on it?

Dear Friends:
Naomi asks an interesting question. The person to answer would be Lois
Arnold, at the Center for Breastfeeding. She knows more about donor milk than
any other human on the planet, and LOVES to talk about it.
Banked milk goes through 3 levels of safety checks (maternal history,
maternal serology, and culture) in addition to being pasteurized. I wish banked
donor blood could be as safe.
    warmly,
