The WIC Program in Massachusetts *has* boycotted Good Start/Carnation formula.
I don't know if Carnation was allowed to bid in the last formula bid
process (which was a while ago I think?) I do know that the Carnation
formulas aren't available under any circumstances in Massachusetts.
(Non-wic formulas are allowed due to intolerance issues with the
contract formula, with md request)
On the other hand, other Carnation products are allowed on WIC, most
notably Carnation Evaporated Milk (Many folks from other countries
prefer this milk to fresh milk). I believe I was also told some of the
juices allowed on WIC come from the same conglomerate.
