We have just experienced our first documented case of Glutaric Acidemia
Type 1. Very difficult to manage this baby and continue with
breastfeeding as he does not have the stamina to continue for long
feeds. I had suggested to mother about the use of some Lactoengineering
and increasing his ability to get to more of the hind milk. Does anyone
have any other ideas?
Liz
