Dear Catherine, I think you have gotten to the essential truth.  Know when
we don't know and who to refer to.  So many HCPs go with whatever scraps of
knowledge they have or believe and just help the mom in trouble finish
breastfeeding off.  If they would have the honesty to admit "I don't know,
but xyz probably does and here is her #" everyone would be better off and
more dyads would be able to keep breastfeeding!

Glad to be back on Lactnet, my computer has been in the computer ICU for 3
