Hello all

I am doing research on a civil war soldier's id tag that was
recovered in Virginia.
i received via email a photo from a far distant decendant of the
Soldier..in order to
rule in or out the man in the photo as the soldier i am looking for..i
need advice to
help date the photograph...based on pension statements by witnesses..the
discription
matches my guy in the photograph....the two females in the photo if the
photo proves to be
in the early to mid 1890's would be the icing on the cake as being the
wife and daughter
if anybody would like to view the photo and based on the technology and
the period clothes
and would be willing to give an opinion i would be forever in your debt.
the photo shows possibly the back room of the Turley Confectionary
shop...Toledo Ohio
the woman on the right is Esther Turley..the young lad is nephew Walter
Turley..girl on left is Daughter Winnifred..and the Gentelman in the
rear i hope will prove to be Andrew J Tuley..1st New York Light
Artillery Co. L.....i have spent the last nine months tracking him and
his family and would like to put a face to him at last...thanks for any
help
