Another possibility is that this baby has been having problems with milk
flow all along, and at 3 mos of age is finally savvy enough to realize
that she has a choice whether or not to put up with it.  Three months is
not an uncommon time for breast refusal to start when babies have been
struggling to coordinate swallowing and breathing.
