Bishop Museum has different uniforms for each block of public contact staff...the museum provides them. We often do special T-shirts for each traveling exhibit (Scream Machines etc.)
Pacific Science Center in Seattle (my old haunt) had the same standard blue polo shirt uniform for all staff and volunteers who were in the public eye - it made it very easy for the visitors to find a staff member quickly.

For those that utilize staff uniforms,
1. Which departments/teams wear uniforms?
Floor Staff , Operations, Box Office, Café, Gift Shop
2. What are those uniforms, and do you have different uniforms for
different departments?
Polos or oxford button down with each department having a different color.
3. Do you provide the uniform or are staff required to purchase
them?
We provide one shirt for free to the staff, volunteers put down a deposit for their shirt which is refunded when they return their shirt.
4. How many uniforms do you provide for each person? One, but they can buy more if they have a need.
