On Radio 3 on Saturday 23-1-99, Humphrey Burton asked if anyone knew of the
whereabouts of the enormous six-foot high tuba that Gerard Hoffnung played
in the Variations on a theme of Annie Laurie at the first music Festival in
the Royal Festival Hall in 1958. The tuba was built originally for Sousa.

Annetta Hoffnung is unaware of its present location. Can anybody help?
