Sawallisch is one of the better ones--many find it the best--though the
recorded sound has always been a little thin and bright, to my memory.
That refers to the EMI LPs.  I've never heard the CDs.  Incidentally,
there are two Kubelik sets that I know of, one on DG the other on Sony.
I haven't listened to either for years, though I think the DG is the
better one.  The Sony was very distantly recorded--but again, I haven't
listented to them in a while.
