Sorry if I missed this in prior messages as I know I'm scanning right now.
But, is this baby sucking on his thumb,or finger, or hand?  When I was
breastfeeding my daughter, 10 years ago, she didn't gain weight between her 4 month
and 6 month check-up and I "attacked" Dee Kassing at a league conference I
attended who spoke on the topic of "slow weight gain".  We were in the bathroom,
and Dee looked at us, and immediately recognized my daughter had her thumb in
her mouth.  She counseled me to offer the breast everytime I saw her thumb in
her mouth and my daughter gained weight!
