ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I would like to propose a session for the 2004 ASTC Conference on ways science centers and museums currently use videoconferencing capabilities and looking at new ways we can use the technology. We present free distance learning programs to middle Tennessee schools and other local sites as a part of Project DIANE, a local videoconferencing consortium, and we present fee based programs to schools in many other states. We have hosted videoconferences from various NASA sites to enhance the visitor experience of our public visitors and our summer campers.

Many science centers and museums are using this technology to present programs. I would like to explore other creative uses of the technology and ways we can use the technology for more interaction with each other. Would anyone like to work with me on developing a session on this topic for next year's ASTC? If so please give me a call at 615-401-5073.

Thanks!
