Was the army really there, or wasn't it all some cheap special effects

Smoke,

I still think a great SHA project would be to do an archaeological survey
and dig at the Roswell UFO site to see what the U.S. Army left behind back
in 1947. See, everyone has been focused on the so-called flying saucer and
no one realized that an Army leaves its own debris on bivouac. I am thinking
we could make a real day of it and have fun in the process, but I cant
imagine getting a ARPA permit approved.
