ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I have enjoyed the Bernoulli conversation. When the messages are grouped
and read in sequence they seem to have a shifting quality. One note will
follow David's query and then another will explain the Bernoulli principle
in detail or compare the principle to an anecdote suggesting an analogy or
a metaphor. I like to think that some of our visitors are engaging in the
same kind of dialogue.

I am interested in science center exhibits because of the emergent effects
they can have on visitors. This effect, when contemplated, can bring
meaning to life. The exhibits suggest that one can begin to understand
something in a deeper way.
Perhaps, this is more important than knowing why the ball is floating in
the air?
