I have a CD first issue of two 1932 Duke Ellington tracks, recorded in
actual stereo at 33-1/3 rpm. It was at first surmised that what had
been intended was two simultaneous recordings of a single take, but the
placement of the musicians, and the deliberate, traceable panning of the
trumpet solo from one channel to the other, make it indisputably a stereo
recording.

I gotta get this classical one, to add to the mix!,

Etc,
